Silo fumigation is a cost-effective method to treat large amounts of grain products such as cereals, animal feeds within its storage vessel (e.g. a silo). It is a feasible, alternative treatment to container fumigation. The majority of silo fumigations are carried out to save time and money. Large quantities of products can be treated in one service for a relatively low cost compared to container fumigation.
Container Fumigation
Transporting goods in shipments between countries using containers is an economic and well established practice. Container fumigation is the treatment of a commodity within a container, or the container itself, to eliminate the risk of pests entering or leaving the country or area and to prevent foreign pests and potentially harmful illnesses from entering another country.
We provide a container fumigation services which is performed by covering the container with a gas proof fumigation tarp and then sand is snaked around all of the edges to achieve and maintain a gas seal.
